About EDBSA

Badminton - The world's fastest racquet sport: a shuttle can leave the racket at a speed of almost 200 mph. Ernakulam District Badminton (Shuttle) Association(EDBSA) is an organization affiliated with Kerala Badminton(Shuttle) Association(KBSA) recognised by Govt.of Kerala. KBSA is affiliated with Indian Badminton Association (BAI). edbsa.com is the official web site of Ernakulam District Badminton (Shuttle) Association. We have an elected body for promoting badminton in our dist. Our goal is to develop badminton as a sport for all, and to encourage the best players to progress up through the rankings both at club, county and International level. Now our players are representing India in varius age group and we are proud of it. In Cochin we have an Indoor stadium called Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium. Now we have an academy for promoting Badminton at Regional Sports Centre
