The Ernakulam District Shuttle Badminton Championship will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kadavanthra, Cochin on the 21st and 22nd July 2009.
There will be events in the age groups of under10, 13, 16 & 19 for both boys and girls in singles and doubles. There will also be events in men, women, master’s (above 35 years) and veterans (above 45 years) in singles and doubles. In the veteran’s event for women, there will be only on category of above 35 years for single and doubles.
The players to represent Ernakulam District in the different age group will be selected during the above championship.
The Championship will be inaugurated at 10 am on Tuesday 21st July 2009 by Mr.Sakir Hussain, President, Ernakulam District Sports Council. The closing ceremony will be at 4 pm on Wednesday, the 22nd July 2009. Please visit our web site www.edbsa.com for more details.
